The Engineering Challenge

University staff management involves high-dimensional data, ranging from complex tenure-based payroll structures to multi-departmental leave policies. The core challenge was building a state machine capable of handling asynchronous background jobs for payroll processing while maintaining strict ACID compliance across thousands of concurrent staff records.
